Welcome to the Foster Care Workers Branch of the IWGB – the lead union in the UK for Foster Care Workers.
Joining fellow foster carers in each of the 4 nations, you will be part of:
- UK wide reforms to foster carer’s legal workers rights
- Campaigning for national independent central regulatory bodies and professional recognition
- Local level improvements to working terms and conditions

The branch operates a tiered system of support for our members:
You must be a member for a minimum of 2 MONTHS prior to the issue arising.
Membership Categories:
- Primary Membership @ £12 per month (For the first main carer)
- Additional Membership @ £3 per month (For each additional member of the household ex. spouse, partner, adult child, grandparent)
